The Chief Executive Officer of Path-Way Group of Companies, Mr Victor Ucheka, has commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his visionary leadership and commitment to strengthening the state’s economy through the ongoing Delta Economic and Investment Summit 2026.
Mr Ucheka, whose company specialises in property development, media services and food distribution, described the summit as a landmark initiative that demonstrated the Governor’s determination to match words with action in delivering sustainable economic growth and development for the people of Delta State.
According to him, the Economic Summit provides a strategic platform for government officials, investors, business leaders, development partners, academics and other critical stakeholders to deliberate on practical measures for accelerating economic diversification, promoting private sector investment and creating employment opportunities across the state.
He noted that the summit focused on key sectors including agriculture, industrialisation, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, tourism, education, healthcare and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He added that these discussions reflected the state’s commitment to building a resilient economy capable of attracting both local and foreign investment.
Mr Ucheka stated that the Governor’s emphasis on improving the ease of doing business, encouraging public-private partnerships and providing an enabling environment for investors would significantly enhance economic activities throughout the state.
He further observed that the summit highlighted the importance of youth empowerment, innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation as essential drivers of long-term economic prosperity. He expressed confidence that the resolutions reached during the summit would translate into policies that would improve the standard of living of Deltans and position the state as one of Nigeria’s leading investment destinations.
“The Governor has demonstrated that he is committed to translating his development agenda into tangible results. Organising an Economic Summit of this magnitude shows purposeful leadership and a genuine desire to create sustainable wealth for the people of Delta State,” Ucheka said.
He also applauded the administration for bringing together experts from both the public and private sectors to share ideas capable of unlocking the enormous economic potential of the state.
Mr Ucheka maintained that the successful hosting of the summit would not only stimulate investment but also increase internally generated revenue, expand business opportunities and contribute positively to the revenue of both the Delta State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria through increased economic activities.
He urged investors, development agencies and the business community to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available in Delta State, particularly in real estate, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, food production, media and technology.
Mr Ucheka reaffirmed the commitment of Path-Way Group of Companies to supporting initiatives that promote investment, economic development, entrepreneurship and job creation, adding that the company remains committed to partnering with government and private organisations in advancing the economic growth and sustainable development of Delta State.
