Oborevwori to Flag Off Uromi Junction Flyover in Agbor Monday

Following the recent groundbreaking of the Otovwodo Junction Flyover in Ughelli, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, will on Monday, January 19, 2026, flag off the construction of the Uromi Junction Flyover in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area.

The flag-off ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. prompt and reflects the administration’s sustained drive to modernise critical road infrastructure across the state, with a focus on easing traffic congestion and enhancing safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Construction works on the project, which is being executed by Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, have already commenced.

The Uromi Junction Flyover is among the newly approved projects by the State Executive Council and follows closely the near completion of three major flyover projects at PTI Junction, DSC Roundabout, and Enerhen Junction along the Effurun–Warri axis, further underscoring the state government’s commitment to infrastructure development.
