Plan to Host Security Summit by Delta State Government a Step in the Right Direction – Ucheka

The Founder of the Ucheka Support Group for the PDP 2023 General Election, Mr. Victor Ucheka, has described the Delta State Government’s plan to host a security summit as a welcome development and a step in the right direction toward addressing security challenges in the state.

Ucheka made the statement while responding to questions from journalists at his office in Asaba. According to him, the proposed summit provides an opportunity for government, security agencies, community leaders, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders to collectively discuss practical solutions to the security concerns facing the state.

He noted that a secure environment is essential for economic growth, business development, and attracting investments.

“The plan by the Delta State Government to host a security summit is a step in the right direction. Delta State needs a safe and peaceful environment for businesses to thrive and for investors to have confidence in bringing their investments into the state,” Ucheka said.

He further urged the government to ensure that the summit produces actionable recommendations that will strengthen intelligence gathering, community policing, and collaboration among security agencies.

Ucheka emphasized that security remains a collective responsibility and called on residents to support government efforts by providing useful information to security agencies and remaining vigilant in their communities.

He expressed confidence that with sustained commitment and cooperation among all stakeholders, Delta State can continue to enjoy peace, stability, and economic prosperity.
