Just In: Prince Martins Idaboh Declares for Aniocha North Assembly Seat, Seeks Prayers and Support Ahead of 2027

It was a memorable and politically significant gathering in Issele-Azagba, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, as respected grassroots politician and businessman, Prince Martins Uzoma Idaboh, popularly known as “UZ,” officially declared his intention to contest for the Aniocha North Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly in the 2027 general elections.

The declaration, which took place in his hometown of Issele-Azagba Ward 5, attracted party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who gathered to receive him and hear his vision for the constituency.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Prince Idaboh said his decision to join the race followed persistent calls and consultations with party faithful, community leaders, and concerned stakeholders across the ward and local government area.

According to him, the growing demand for purposeful and people-oriented representation inspired him to step forward and offer himself for service.

“After wide consultations and repeated calls from our leaders, elders, youths, and women across Aniocha North, I have decided to answer the call to serve our people,” he declared. “This is not about personal ambition; it is about our collective future and the need to provide quality representation that truly reflects the aspirations of our people.”

Prince Idaboh noted that with over two decades of active involvement in politics and community development, he possesses the experience, network, and capacity required to effectively represent Aniocha North at the State Assembly.

He pledged to run an inclusive and issue-based campaign anchored on unity, youth empowerment, human capital development, and infrastructural advancement.

“I have spent years building relationships, understanding the needs of our people, and contributing to the growth of our communities. If given the opportunity, I will be a bridge-builder, a unifier, and a strong voice for Aniocha North,” he said.

The APC aspirant also called on the people of Issele-Azagba and the entire constituency to remain united and focused as the 2027 elections draw nearer, stressing that only unity and strategic collaboration can guarantee victory and progress.

“This is the time for us to come together, put aside our differences, and chart a common course for the development of Aniocha North. Our future is brighter when we stand as one people,” he added.

In a show of political maturity, Prince Idaboh commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, whom he described as a personal friend, for what he termed visible developmental strides across the state.

He reaffirmed his support for the governor’s re-election, expressing confidence in his leadership and commitment to the progress of Delta State.

“Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated commitment to governance and development. I will continue to support every effort aimed at moving Delta State forward,” he stated.

Speaking on behalf of party members, the Chairman of APC Ward 5, Issele-Azagba, Prince Francis Obi, offered prayers for the aspirant and expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver effective representation.

He urged Prince Idaboh to proceed with the next steps of the political process, including the purchase of his nomination form.

“Prince Martins Uzoma Idaboh is a tested and trusted son of the soil. We believe he has what it takes to represent Aniocha North effectively, and we assure him of our full support,” Obi said.

The declaration has since generated excitement among party faithful and residents of Aniocha North, with many describing Prince Idaboh’s entrance into the race as a welcome development capable of reshaping the political landscape of the constituency ahead of 2027.
