The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by its State Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, JP, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chief Joseph Otumara, describing him as a loyal party stalwart whose contributions to the growth of the party and the development of his community will remain unforgettable.

Chief Arenyeka, accompanied by members of the State Executive Committee and other party leaders, visited the Otumara family on Monday to sympathize with them over the loss of the respected APC chieftain.

The delegation included the State Secretary, Chief Efe Uko; Delta South Senatorial Chairman, Chief Emma Amgbaduba; State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq.; State Auditor, Mr. Paul Azorbo Amabiri; and several local government party chairmen and executive members.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the family, Pa. Erebo Ebiyon expressed appreciation to the APC leadership for identifying with the family during their period of mourning.

Addressing the widow, Mrs. Justina Otumara, Chief Arenyeka urged her to remain strong, assuring the family of the party’s unwavering support.

“Mama, while no words can truly heal the pain of losing a beloved husband, please be comforted by the fact that Chief Joseph Otumara lived a life of honour, service and unwavering commitment to humanity and our great party. His legacy of loyalty, courage and selfless leadership will continue to inspire generations. The Delta APC stands firmly with you and your entire family in this difficult period, and you will not walk this path alone,” he said.

The APC Chairman described the deceased as a dependable pillar of the party whose wisdom and commitment strengthened the APC across Delta State.

“Chief Joseph Otumara was more than a party member; he was a dependable pillar, a bridge-builder and a man whose wisdom and dedication strengthened our collective resolve. Though death has taken him from our sight, it cannot erase the remarkable footprints he left in our party and society. We pray that Almighty God grants the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grants our departed leader eternal rest,” Arenyeka added.

Also present during the condolence visit were the Warri South APC Chairman, Mr. Richard Pessu; Commissioner for Agriculture, Barr. Val Arenyeka; Prince Yemi Emiko; Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs, Hon. Griftson Omatsuli; Special Adviser on Community Development, Hon.
