2027: Integrity Group Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori For Second Tenure, Pledges Massive Votes

The Integrity Group of Nigeria, also known as the Renewed Hope Agenda Ambassadors, has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to mobilise 10 million votes for the president and 200,000 votes for the governor.

The endorsement was made on Monday during a world press conference held at the group’s headquarters in Asaba, where its Convener, Dr. Oke Idawene, described Governor Oborevwori as “unbeatable” in the 2027 governorship race.

According to him, the election in Delta State would be a “no-contest” given what he described as the governor’s remarkable achievements and growing popularity across the state.

“Governor Oborevwori is unbeatable in 2027. Those planning to contest should save their resources and not waste their time because the people of Delta State have already made their choice,” Idawene said.

He also congratulated the governor for recently receiving two national honours — Governor of the Year for Urban Renewal and Outstanding Governor of the Year.

The group’s convener further commended President Tinubu for what he termed bold economic reforms and increased financial support to states for infrastructural development.

“We urge Nigerians to remain calm and not give up on the Tinubu-led administration. The promised one trillion dollar economy by 2030 is a work in progress, and with patience, the benefits will be seen,” he stated.

Dr. Idawene said the Integrity Group, which he described as a self-sponsored grassroots movement established three years ago, remains committed to promoting good governance and supporting leaders with developmental vision.

He listed some of the achievements of Governor Oborevwori’s administration to include the resolution of recent power supply challenges, increased salaries for doctors, and approval for the recruitment of 700 additional medical personnel to strengthen healthcare delivery in the state.

Also speaking, an executive member of the group, Comrade Bolum Martins, praised the administration for addressing labour and welfare concerns.

“The successful resolution of the minimum wage issue, regular payment of salaries, and clearance of pension arrears are clear signs of responsive governance,” Martins said.

On concerns that Nigeria may be drifting towards a one-party state, the group dismissed the claim, insisting that the country’s democracy remains vibrant.

Deputy National Media Director of the group, Hon. Ufuoma Onos, said all political parties still have the constitutional right to participate freely in elections.

“There is no one-party system in Nigeria. Every registered political party is free to contest, campaign and seek the mandate of the people,” Onos said.

The group also appreciated the First Lady of Delta State, Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, for her humanitarian efforts through the You Matter Charity Foundation.

The conference ended with a renewed pledge by the Integrity Group to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of the Tinubu-Oborevwori ticket under the Renewed Hope and M.O.R.E agenda in 2027.
