The Delta State Government has issued a special announcement calling on all qualified Deltans to seize the opportunity to join the Nigerian Air Force through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025 enlistment exercise.

According to the statement released by the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, the online application portal — www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng — officially opened on August 27, 2025, and will remain active until October 7, 2025.

The DSSC program is a prestigious pathway for Nigerian graduates and postgraduates, both male and female, to serve as commissioned officers in specialized professional fields including engineering, medicine, legal services, ICT, and cyber operations, among others.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

Age range: 20 to 32 years, with age flexibility for certain professional fields.

Academic qualification: Minimum of Second Class Upper Division (B.Sc./B.A.) or Upper Credit (HND).

NYSC discharge certificate is mandatory.

Applicants must be single, and medically and physically fit.

Selected candidates will undergo 6 to 9 months of rigorous military training, after which they will be commissioned as Flying Officers in the Nigerian Air Force.

The Delta State Government emphasized that the application is completely free of charge and warned applicants to be cautious of fraudsters or middlemen who may request payment for the process.

This recruitment drive aligns with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, particularly the administration’s ongoing commitment to wealth and job creation for Delta State citizens.

Aspiring applicants from Delta State are encouraged to act promptly by visiting the official Nigerian Air Force recruitment portal to apply.
