2027: Governor’s Aide Unveils Door-to-Door Movement, to Mobilises Support for Oborevwori, Tinubu

A socio-political group, known as ‘Chief Frank Akiefa Movement’ (CFAM), has unveiled a statewide door-to-door campaign aimed at mobilising massive grassroots support for Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The movement, led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Chief Frank Akiefa, said the initiative was designed to take the message of continuity, stability and good governance directly to the people at the ward and community levels. According to him, the campaign will focus on engaging residents face-to-face, explaining the achievements of the current administrations and building a strong grassroots structure ahead of the polls.

Speaking during the unveiling exercise, Chief Akiefa said CFAM is committed to ensuring overwhelming electoral support for both leaders. “This movement is about the people. We are going house to house, community to community, to mobilise and conscientise Deltans to stand firmly behind Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” he stated.

He noted that Governor Oborevwori’s administration has continued to deliver impactful projects across the state in line with the MORE Agenda, stressing that the governor deserves a second term to consolidate on the gains recorded so far. “The visible development across Delta State is clear evidence of purposeful leadership. Our duty is to protect these achievements by supporting continuity,” Akiefa added.

Chief Akiefa who is also the President of Chief Akiefa Frank Foundation, called on residents, particularly those yet to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). “No PVC, no voice. We urge all eligible citizens, especially youths and first-time voters, to register so that Delta State can increase its voting strength,” he said.

According to the CFAM leader, the door-to-door campaign will be sustained in the coming months through town hall engagements, sensitisation programmes and strategic mobilisation across the 25 local government areas of the state. He expressed confidence that with increased voter participation and unity at the grassroots, Delta State would record a resounding victory for Governor Oborevwori and President Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
