Yerin Ekriyan Responds To Allegations Against Tantita, Tompolo; Describes Claim As Baseless, Malicious

The Coordinator of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Bilabiri Mein Kingdom, Yerin Johnbo Ekriyan, has vehemently rejected recent online allegations against Tantita Security Services and its esteemed leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.

He described the claims as malicious and a coordinated assault on the truth.

Reacting to a recent online report titled “Bilabiri Fights Back Against Tantita Security Firm’s Alleged Overreach”, Ekriyan dismissed the allegations made by Paebi Samson, a self-acclaimed General Secretary of Bilabiri Mein Kingdom.

According to Ekriyan, the report reeks of desperation, deceit, and ill-intentions designed to undermine the reputation and achievements of Tantita Security Services and its leadership.

“These baseless accusations, rooted in lies and blackmail, are nothing but a transparent ploy to distract from the monumental progress Tantita Security Services has made in securing the Niger Delta region and fostering peace,” Ekriyan stated.

“I reject these claims in their entirety and call for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth and vindicate the sterling reputation of Tantita Security Services and High Chief Tompolo.”

Ekriyan emphasized his unwavering commitment to truth and integrity:“I unequivocally condemn this recent report filled with falsehoods aiming to undermine the significant contributions of Tantita and Tompolo towards regional peace and security.

Ordinarily, I would not respond to such provocations, but I feel compelled to address these unfounded allegations by Paebi Samson in his petition to the Chief of Defence Staff at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

He further described the claims as entirely false, malicious, and motivated by hidden agendas. “Tantita Security Services consistently demonstrates commitment to peace, security, and community development across the Niger Delta.

Under Tompolo’s leadership, we have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of communities in our operational areas.

”Regarding accusations of intimidation, resource control, and interference in local affairs, Ekriyan categorically denied any such actions and dismissed them as products of the petitioner’s imagination.

“Tantita does not interfere in community sovereignty or internal issues. Moreover, the petition lacks any specific, credible evidence, fails to provide documentation or witness statements, and does not substantiate any illegal activities such as oil bunkering.

”Addressing the issue of community relations, Ekriyan recounted an incident on November 30, 2024, when Hon. Akpos Semode, Community Relations Manager, contacted the then Bilabiri community chairman, Tekenane Abaka, to request bank details for community support payments.

“Rather than cooperate, the chairman responded abusively and abruptly ended the call, while other communities accepted the support.”

Ekriyan expressed deep disappointment over the involvement of Tekenane Abaka and Ebimene Abaka (known as Small Fire), both current employees of Tantita Security Services, with Ebimene serving as Assistant Coordinator in Bilabiri.

“Their alleged role in these petitions appears to be a deliberate effort to discredit Tantita Security Services and High Chief Tompolo’s dedication to securing pipelines and oil and gas infrastructure.”

He also clarified that Tantita Security Services has never engaged in or subcontracted its operations to Renaissance Africa Energy Company Ltd.

Regarding the characterization of Tompolo’s efforts as an empire-building agenda, Ekriyan called it a gross misrepresentation of his genuine dedication to the Niger Delta’s development and peace.“Tantita Security Services enjoys a proven track record of constructive collaboration with communities, respecting their rights and working for mutual benefit.

I am confident that a thorough and impartial investigation will reveal these allegations as baseless and driven by self-interest.”

Ekriyan appealed to the Chief of Defence Staff to consider the facts and the longstanding dedication of Tantita Security Services to peace and security in the Niger Delta. “We remain open to any inquiry or investigation, confident that our integrity and commitment to the region’s well-being will be fully vindicated.”
