A heated confrontation between popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan (VDM), and comedian, Mr. Jollof, disrupted a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos on Monday, November 17, 2025.
The altercation, which resulted in both men being taken off the aircraft, has since dominated social media conversations after a video of VDM displaying a bite mark on his chest went viral. In the clip, VDM accused Mr. Jollof of biting him during the scuffle.
According to VDM, tensions flared after he spotted the comedian on board and approached him over their long-running dispute. He alleged that Mr. Jollof landed the first punch, triggering a fight that escalated into the biting incident.
“After we saw each other on the flight, I confronted him because of our past issues. He hit me first, then I fought back, and he bit me,” VDM said while showing the injury to viewers.
The incident has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians criticising both men for allowing their digital feud to spill into a physical confrontation, especially in a public setting like a commercial flight.
