The Member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, has expressed joy over the completion and commissioning of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Delta State Model Office, describing it as a “historic milestone” and a “symbol of renewed hope” for the Niger Delta region.
In a statement issued shortly after the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Ibori-Suenu said the project, which was conceived over a decade ago, stands as a testament to resilience, vision, and commitment to development in Delta State and the wider Niger Delta region.
She commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, and the NDDC Management Board for their unwavering support and determination in ensuring the completion of the project.
According to her, the new edifice represents more than just physical infrastructure, but a renewed drive for efficiency, accessibility, and sustainable service delivery by the Commission.
“This milestone goes beyond the structure we see today—it represents efficiency, accessibility, and a renewed drive to deliver sustainable development to our people,” she stated. “It will benefit not only the staff and management of the Commission but also the broader Niger Delta community, showcasing the impact of transformational leadership.”
Hon. Ibori-Suenu also appreciated her colleagues in the National Assembly who graced the commissioning ceremony, noting that their collective efforts remain vital in ensuring that the NDDC fulfills its mandate of promoting equitable and sustainable development in the region.
She concluded with a message of hope and unity, praying for continued progress in Delta State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria at large.
“God bless Delta State, God bless the Niger Delta region, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” she added.
