The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated its State Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Delta Central Senatorial District, Okakuro Paulinus Akpeki, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie and the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo Esq, the party described Akpeki as an experienced administrator, former federal legislator and a committed party leader whose contributions to democratic governance and party development in Delta State have been significant.
Elder Sobotie recalled Akpeki’s tenure as a former member of the House of Representatives, noting that he distinguished himself through effective representation, principled leadership and dedication to the welfare of his constituents, as well as the growth of the APC.
He praised the celebrant as a stabilising force within the party, particularly in Delta Central, describing him as a loyal party man and bridge builder whose experience and counsel continue to strengthen the APC in the state.
“Okakuro Paulinus Akpeki is a man of integrity, experience and uncommon dedication to the ideals of our party. His contributions to party building and democratic governance in Delta State are immeasurable,” Sobotie said, while praying for many more years of impactful service to the party, the state and the nation.
The APC chairman also highlighted Akpeki’s role outside partisan politics, describing him as a respected traditional leader and the Ugo of Okpe Kingdom, a title he said reflects his service to humanity, cultural values and the Okpe people.
The party commended Akpeki’s steadfast loyalty, wise counsel and sustained efforts at strengthening party structures, promoting unity and advancing good governance across Delta Central and the state at large.
As he marks another year, the Delta APC wished him good health, wisdom and renewed strength for continued service to the party, the Okpe Kingdom, Delta State and Nigeria.
