The All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State, has felicitated with the State Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a dedicated public servant and consummate communicator.
In a goodwill message signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq., the State Chairman of the party, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, JP, commended Aniagwu for his resilience, professionalism and steadfast commitment to duty.
Arenyeka said Aniagwu’s wealth of experience in journalism, public communication and governance had distinguished him in the service of Delta State, particularly in communicating the policies and programmes of the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
“On behalf of Delta APC, I heartily felicitate with Mr. Charles Aniagwu on the occasion of his birthday. We celebrate a man whose dedication, resilience, and steadfast commitment to duty have continued to distinguish him in public service,” he said.
The APC chairman noted that Aniagwu had effectively deployed his communication skills to bridge the gap between government and the people, thereby promoting greater understanding of the administration’s programmes and initiatives under the M.O.R.E. Agenda.
“His wealth of experience as a journalist and communicator has enabled him to effectively engage the people and explain government policies and programs in a manner that promotes a better understanding of the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori,” Arenyeka stated.
He added that Aniagwu had demonstrated through his service that public office was an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to society, noting that his consistency and professionalism had contributed to projecting the government’s commitment to good governance and development.
The APC chairman also commended Aniagwu for the manner in which he had handled his responsibilities as Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, describing him as a valuable member of the state’s governance team.
“We acknowledge and commend his steadfastness, his capacity to communicate effectively, and his willingness to bring his knowledge and experience to bear on the responsibilities entrusted to him. These qualities are worthy of recognition and emulation,” he added.
The party wished the commissioner many more years of fruitful service, praying God Almighty to grant him good health, wisdom, strength and fulfilment as he continues to contribute to the development and progress of Delta State.
