Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) President, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Esq. (FNSE), has felicitated the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Malam Shehu Dikko, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as a visionary leader whose commitment is driving the transformation of Nigerian sports.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, the tennis community, and in his personal capacity, Ochei commended Dikko’s unwavering dedication to building a sustainable sports sector through strategic reforms, innovation, and inclusive stakeholder engagement.
According to the NTF President, “Your unwavering commitment to the growth and transformation of Nigerian sports, your visionary leadership, and your passion for excellence continue to inspire confidence across the sporting fraternity.”
He noted that since assuming office as Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Dikko has demonstrated exceptional leadership by promoting policies and initiatives that are strengthening the nation’s sports ecosystem.
Ochei further praised the sports administrator for his humility, integrity, courage, and administrative competence, saying these qualities have positioned Nigerian sports on the path of renewed hope and greater possibilities.
“Your support for the development of various sporting federations, including tennis, is deeply appreciated and serves as a testament to your belief in grassroots development and sporting excellence,” he stated.
The NTF President also acknowledged Dikko’s contributions to the advancement of sports across the country, emphasizing that his inclusive approach has continued to inspire confidence among athletes, administrators, and other stakeholders.
While celebrating the National Sports Commission Chairman on his special day, Ochei offered prayers for continued divine guidance, good health, and greater accomplishments.
