NSCDC Delta Congratulates Commandant General on Reappointment, Pledges Renewed Support

The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has congratulated the Corps’ Commandant General, Chinedu F. Igbo on his reappointment, describing the development as well deserved and a testament to exemplary leadership.

In a press statement signed by the State Commandant, Chinedu F. Igbo, the command praised the Commandant General’s first tenure, noting that it was marked by “exemplary leadership, massive operational milestones, and effective administration of the Corps.”

According to the statement, the reappointed leader successfully transformed the NSCDC into “a proactive, resilient, intelligence-led security agency and a formidable member of Nigeria’s security architecture,” while also projecting the Corps’ image beyond the country’s shores.

The Delta Command expressed confidence that the new tenure would usher in greater achievements. “Great heights are only going to be stepping stones to the excellence and international recognition that we so desire,” the statement read.

Reaffirming its commitment, the command pledged unalloyed support to the Commandant General, emphasizing renewed dedication to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure. The statement added that the reappointment “calls us to more dedication to work… and a renewed drive to support you in repositioning the Corps in light of current global security challenges.”

The Delta NSCDC also offered prayers for divine guidance and protection for the Commandant General as he continues to lead the Corps to greater heights.
