Tragedy: Dangote Truck Accident Claims Eight Lives, Injures Several Others in Asaba

A tragic accident unfolded on Monday morning near Oko Market, close to the Onitsha Toll Gate in Asaba, when a Dangote truck lost control and struck traders and pedestrians in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 11:15 a.m., leaving at least eight people dead and several others injured.

The injured were quickly rushed to St. Rebecca Hospital in Mami Market, Asaba, where they are receiving urgent medical care.

Emergency responders were on the scene at the time of this report, while authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the tragedy.
