Pastor Obiorah Leads Congregation in Special Prayers as Church Concludes 2026 Family Series Teaching

By Peter Ogege

The Lead Pastor of Life of Faith Gospel Assembly, also known as City of Transformation, Pastor Samuel Obiorah, on Sunday led members of his congregation in an intense session of prayers for families, marking the conclusion of the church’s 2026 Family Series.

The prayer session, anchored on biblical promises, focused on divine blessings and increase, protection over homes, and the dislodging of forces of darkness. Worshippers also declared restoration of lost fortunes and victory over adversities affecting families and relationships.

Earlier in the service, Pastor Obiorah facilitated an interactive teaching session titled “What if I Got it Wrong,” where participants examined common pitfalls in relationships and marriages. The discussion highlighted four major areas where individuals often make mistakes: wrong judgment, compromise, abuse, and separation or divorce.

Participants emphasized that regardless of the challenges faced, unpleasant situations in relationships can be corrected through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

As part of activities to round off the Family Series, the church organized a variety of events aimed at strengthening bonds among members. These included a singles’ banquet for unmarried congregants, a couples’ dinner, a cooking competition featuring single women and married women, and a novelty football match between married and unmarried men.

The series, which focused on building strong family values and relationships, attracted active participation from members and concluded on a note of renewed faith and unity.
