‎FALSE CLAIMS: Niger Delta Peace Awareness Movement Sets the Record Straight on Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Ltd.

‎The Niger Delta Peace Awareness Movement (NDPAM) has taken strong exception to a recent report authored by Raphael Ayeibo, circulating on social media platforms, which maliciously sought to tarnish the reputation of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Ltd. (PINL), describing it as falsely targeted at discrediting the company’s reputation.

‎National Coordinator of Niger Delta Peace Awareness Movement, Alhaji Harmony Destiny Awo,while reacting on behalf of the Group to the report, advised the author and his sponsors to stop peddling fake news just to gain cheap popularity for their company.

‎” I hereby unequivocally debunk these falsehoods and reaffirm PINL’s commitment to excellence in securing oil and gas facilities across the Niger Delta region”.

‎According to Alhaji Harmony Destiny Awo who is the Vice Chairman, Coalition of Niger Delta Pressure Groups stated that “the claims that PINL has not employed 5,000 workers in the Niger Delta region are baseless, unfounded, and utterly ridiculous. PINL has a robust workforce of dedicated employees who have been instrumental in ensuring the security of oil and gas assets, thereby contributing to the nation’s economic well-being”.

‎”It is preposterous to suggest that the company, which has been faithfully executing its contractual obligations to the Federal Government and NNPCL would not have a substantial workforce in the region,it is laughable”….Awo added

‎”The report’s reliance on unnamed sources and unverifiable assertions, lack of concrete evidence to support these outlandish claims is a clear indication of the report’s malicious intent. PINL’s employment records, tax payments, and community development initiatives are a testament to its commitment to the region’s economic growth and development”.

‎Alhaji Awo,a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta struggle, affirmed that”the allegations of workers being dismissed and houseboat owners reclaiming their vessels are gross exaggerations, taken out of context, and designed to create unnecessary tension. PINL’s dynamic workforce undergoes regular restructuring to optimize operations, and any changes are made in accordance with industry best practices and applicable laws”.

‎”NDPAM commends PINL for its exemplary corporate social responsibility initiatives, which have positively impacted the lives of many in the Niger Delta region. The company’s commitment to empowering local communities through various development programs is a shining example of its dedication to the region’s growth and prosperity”.

‎”We urge the public to exercise caution and discernment when consuming information, particularly from sources with questionable motives. To Raphael Ayeibo,he should fact-check and verify before publication.I advise you to desist from spreading falsehoods and instead focus on verifiable evidence”.

‎”NDPAM reaffirms its support for PINL and its operations in the Niger Delta region. We recognize the company’s contributions to the nation’s economic development and its commitment to the security and well-being of the region. We will continue to advocate for truth, fairness, and justice in all matters concerning our region”.
