‎DELTA APC CONGRESS: Prince Botu Salutes Areyenka, Amgbaduba & SWC on Emergence As Party Leaders


‎Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Project Monitoring, Hon. Prince Churchill Botu, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his successful election and swearing-in as Chairman of the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC), following a unanimous affirmation at the State Congress of the party in Asaba, witnessed by delegates, leaders, elders, stakeholders, youths, and women from the 25 Local Government Areas of the state.

‎Hon. Botu, in a congratulatory message, described the emergence of Chief Solomon Arenyeka as a resounding vote of confidence in his wide acceptability, unwavering commitment to duty, and steadfast dedication to the growth of the party and the advancement of democracy in Delta State.

‎He noted that Chief Solomon Arenyeka enjoys the overwhelming confidence of leaders, elders, and stakeholders of the party, making him the first chairman to successfully transition from one political party to another within the state without any rancour, division, or setback, an indication of his political maturity and bridge building capacity.

‎Hon. Botu, a two time Councillor, former House of Assembly aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly, and former Chairmanship aspirant, expressed strong confidence in the leadership ability of Chief Solomon Arenyeka to reposition the party, strengthen internal cohesion, and galvanize members toward achieving greater political victories in the state.

‎The Governor’s aide also congratulated Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba on his emergence as State Vice Chairman and Chairman, Delta South Senatorial District of the APC, stating that he has consistently demonstrated capacity, competence, and the requisite experience to effectively pilot and support the party’s leadership structure.

‎He further emphasized that Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba has over the years proven himself to be a committed party man whose leadership style is innovative and inclusive, with a remarkable ability to carry everyone along in the scheme of affairs, thereby earning the trust and confidence of party faithful across the state.

‎Hon. Botu also congratulated all members of the State Working Committee of the Delta State APC and urged them to work closely with the Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, and the Leader of the party in the state, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, in order to consolidate the party’s unity and strengthen its grassroots structure.

‎He added that the successful State APC Congress has ushered in a new dawn for the party in Delta State and advised members to shun divisive tendencies, close ranks, and align with the leadership to further enhance the fortunes of the party in future elections.
