The Joint Committees of the National Assembly on Petroleum Resources have passed a vote of absolute confidence on Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, following its performance in securing oil pipelines and curbing crude oil theft in the Niger Delta.
The endorsement was announced during a high-level parliamentary roundtable held at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, where lawmakers from both the Senate and House of Representatives convened to review the state of pipeline security across the country.
The session brought together key stakeholders, including officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, security agencies, and industry experts, to assess ongoing interventions aimed at protecting critical oil infrastructure and boosting national production.
Participants at the roundtable commended Tantita Security for its role in significantly reducing incidents of pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft, particularly in the Niger Delta region. They noted that the company’s surveillance operations and community-based approach have contributed to improved oil output and enhanced economic stability.
