Delta APC Hails, Dr. Hilary Ibegbulem, on Birth Anniversary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has congratulated former Principal Secretary to immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Dr. Hilary Ibegbulem, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement by the State publicity Secretary Valentine Onojeghuo, the APC State party Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, described Dr. Ibegbulem as a distinguished political figure and a man of exceptional intellect, courage and compassion, whose contributions to governance and youth development continue to make significant impact in Delta State and beyond.

Elder Sobotie commended Ibegbulem’s record of public service, noting that his dedication to education, empowerment and equal opportunity has earned him broad respect across political divides. He praised the celebrant’s commitment to advancing opportunities for youths and women, as well as his philanthropic interventions in various communities.

“Dr. Ibegbulem’s life is a shining testimony of purposeful leadership anchored on service, empathy and an unwavering pursuit of the common good,” Sobotie stated, describing him as a “true Lion of Africa” and a bridge between generations.

The party lauded his humility, accessibility and generosity, describing these attributes as increasingly rare in today’s political environment. It further expressed confidence that the former Principal Secretary still has greater achievements ahead.

“As he marks this special milestone, we join his family, friends, associates and admirers to celebrate a visionary leader and humanitarian whose legacy of service continues to inspire,” the statement read.

The party prayed for God to grant Ibegbulem more years of good health, wisdom and strength.
